Questions answered
A few useful answers before we talk. If you don’t see your question here, a short note is enough—we’ll sort the rest together.
What kinds of situations are a fit?
Moments when things feel stuck, ambiguous, or unusually charged—especially across mission, people, systems, board dynamics, or funding constraints.
What do you actually deliver?
All engagements receive a customized Scope of Work document which includes: expected outcomes, deliverables, proposed process ( i.e. before, during, and after a retreat), cost, terms and timelines. I remain with you during implementation and outcomes, including discussions to adjust the plan as it unfolds in real time.
Do you offer ongoing support or only short projects?
Both. Some work is a focused sprint; some benefits from steady partnership over time. We decide based on the problem, not a template.
How long does it take?
It depends on scope and stakes. We keep it contained: each phase ends with a decision point about whether to continue, shift, or stop.
Are workshops, retreats, or facilitation available?
Yes—when they serve the work (not as performative activity). Format follows function.
Do you work virtually or in person?
Both. Many engagements work well remotely; in-person is available when it meaningfully improves outcomes.
How do you handle confidentiality?
Discretion is standard. We clarify who’s in the loop, what gets documented, and how sensitive information is handled. All meeting notes, documents, and folders are password protected.
What is your pricing model?
Engagements are scoped based on need and complexity. After an initial conversation, you’ll receive clear options for how we could work together. For example, if you choose an onsite workshop where travel expenses (always budget friendly) would be incurred, they are included in the fee, which simplifies the need for reimbursement paperwork. Unless materials are extraordinary (i.e. purchasing software), they are included in the fee too.
How do we get started?
A short intake, a working conversation, and then a clear scope with next steps. Simple, contained, and decisive.
How do we know if it’s working?
Referring to the Scope of Work benchmark/ feedback points are included in the process toward completion of outcomes. Ability to use anonymous surveys for stakeholders/audience members if desired.
